The client planned to acquire a portfolio of 28 properties used by public authorities in ten different locations in the state of Hesse. We provided support with regard to the assessment of the technical condition and the identification of technical risks in the form of a portfolio due diligence.
Challenges
Given the size of the portfolio, a narrow time window was allocated for the technical due diligence and it was important to create reliable analyses for the client as quickly as possible.
Added value
A management summary and individual reports showed the existing maintenance backlog and the required investment needs. With these reports, our client was able to strengthen its negotiating position in the transaction process.
