Our client commissioned us to prepare the technical due diligence for the existing property as part of the purchase review. The aim was to identify possible investment risks for the future single-tenant use at an early stage and to incorporate the results accordingly into the purchase process.
The building complex consists of several building parts, which were constructed in the 1980s as well as in 2009. Since the entire campus was not part of the transaction and the technical supply with regard to heat, water and electricity is provided via the technical centres of another building, the technical dependencies in particular had to be examined.
Within the scope of the technical due diligence, we highlighted the required investment needs as well as identified urgently needed measures that served as a basis for negotiations for the prospective buyer
