Monitoring

The new construction of two hotel complexes is integrated into the large new development of Mercedesplatz in Berlin as "Bauteil D". On behalf of the investor, who had acquired the properties as part of a forward deal, we examined the progress on the construction site, the adherence to the cost framework and the quality of the construction services provided on a monthly basis.

Challenges

The integration of the new buildings, "Bauteil D", into the restructuring of Mercedesplatz turned out to be complex.

Added value

All project risks were identified and continuously analysed through our construction monitoring. The results of the monthly review were summarised for our client in the form of a management summary and explained in a detailed report. In this way, the client was able to continuously monitor the contractual obligations of the project developer and ultimately successfully carry out the acceptance of the construction measures.
